Resource Development Coordinator

Part-Time | 20–25 hours


  • Write, edit, and develop adapted Christian Education curriculum materials
  • Write, edit, and develop discipleship and spiritual growth resources
  • Coordinate content creation by multiple staff and volunteer contributors
  • Coordinate creation of illustrations and graphic designs by independent contractors
  • Manage detailed logistics of multiple resource projects simultaneously
  • Consult with individuals, families, and churches regularly to assess what ministry resources are most needed
  • Train others how to use adapted discipleship and educational resources in the home and church contexts
  • Teach and train others via live online, recorded, and in-person contexts how to help children, teens, and adults with disabilities grow in Christ

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching and interacting with people who have disabilities in the church context
  • Bachelor’s degree in special education, Bible, theology, communications, marketing, or related field
  • Excellent writing and editing skills for both print and online audiences
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Excellent graphic design skills
  • Proven ability to transform knowledge into appropriately adapted resources that promote spiritual growth in children, teens, and adults with disabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion, ensuring all detailed steps are accomplished and projects delivered on time
  • Ability to direct multiple contributors to the content, design, and delivery of print, online, and video resources
  • Familiarity with the processes of design and production of print materials and publications
  • Strong time management skills and ability to remain flexible
  • Maturity, humility, professionalism, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence and accuracy
  • Demonstrated commitment to individuals and families impacted by disability
  • Adhere to the Reformed view of the Christian faith
  • Ability to work from home, with a non-traditional schedule, and with occasional travel out-of-town and overnight

Compensation and Terms

Engaging Disability With The Gospel offers a generous and comprehensive compensation and benefits package, commensurate with experience. Staff members are missionaries and responsible for raising financial support to cover their employment costs.
