On Saturday, October 11 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, Kevin Daane, Director of Disability Ministry Coaching, will be speaking on the Bible’s perspective on disability as well as the church’s role in welcoming those with disabilities into the full life of the church.
Kevin’s workshops titles are:
- The Word of God: What does God’s Word say about disability?
- The Welcome of God: Our friends with disabilities are indispensable to the church.
- The Work of the Church: How can we welcome and enfold kids, teens, and adults with disabilities into our church family?
Kevin will also teach and preach on Sunday, October 12 at Sierra View Presbyterian Church, 5735 N Maroa Ave, Fresno, CA. Sunday School topic is Loving Well: A quick overview of the why, who, what, and how of disability ministry in the church. The sermon title is An Unexpected Question: Luke 7:18-23.
