The church has a unique role in the life of a person who has a disability. Churches provide opportunities, challenges, and blessings as they make adaptations for discipleship, spiritual growth, and care of those touched by disability.
Engaging Disability seeks to partner with every PCA congregation in ways that uniquely support the congregation’s efforts to meet the needs of families touched by disability. We want to assist in enfolding them into the already-existing ministries of the church.
Disability ministry doesn’t require allocated funds, a host of volunteers, or experience with disability. It requires one faithful step at a time to come alongside families touched by disability according to their unique needs.
Our goal is to help each church discover the next steps in disability ministry based on its context, families, and unique needs.
